Ready to book your portrait session?

What I really love about photographing families is the realness there is to it. I aim to create a relaxed and fun experience with everyone I work with. Because of this, your images will have an almost casual vibe to them, yet, they will be vibrant and candid. My goal is to provide you with an enjoyable experience and a set of images that you will love forever. I believe that the best portrait sessions are not staged. Let go and have fun with the kids, grandkids, your spouse, etc. Tickle each other, toss the little ones up in the air, bring an activity for the kids and lets capture the joy in their eyes and love in your heart. Sure, a few posed images sprinkled in the mix are great, who doesn’t love a good, “everyone look at the camera and smile” photo? But that’s not what this is all about. This is about documenting your unique and beautiful family as they are in this very moment.

I offer two types of family portrait sessions, as well as occasional promotions once or twice a year so please follow me on Instagram to stay in the loop and take advantage of some great promos!

The first is a 1.5 hour portrait session that includes an outdoor location such as the beach, a park, an urban setting or your backyard. If the session is going great, everyone is looking fabulous in their photos and/or the lighting suddenly got phenomenal, I will continue on clicking! I am not a stickler about the “clock”, so relax and have fun!

The second option is what I like to call your Sunday morning session. This special documentary-style session will last approximately 3.5 hours and usually starts at home with the kids in their p.j.’s. By the way, it does not have to be on a Sunday morning, just whatever day you and your family have a clear schedule to simply enjoy and have some family time. Your family will be documented in a very candid and artistic way. The entire session can be done at home with some planned activities in the front or backyard; or it can be moved to a second location for a portion of the session such as your neighborhood playground. The aim is to keep it simple, so I typically recommend no driving. These are, as you can imagine, much more intimate as I am applying a very candid approach. The aim is to capture the realness of your life. The amount of images received with this session is unlimited and I typically deliver about 15-20% of them in black and white.
